Expect additional traffic notices as work progresses

CLEVELAND –   This Dominion Energy Ohio’s gas pipeline infrastructure improvement project is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 19, 2018 and includes work on the following streets:

  • Stones Levee – From West 3rd Street westerly approximately 500’.
  • West 4th Street – From Central Avenue to Harrison Avenue.
  • Harrison Avenue – From West 4th Street to West 3rd Street.
  • West 3rd Street – From Harrison Avenue to Canal Road.

The project scope is to replace the old steel mainline with new plastic mainline in the sidewalk area. A minimum of one lane of traffic will be maintained at all times on West 3rd Street.  Traffic control personnel will be present in the work zone directing traffic.  Access to adjacent driveways will be maintained throughout construction.  The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

This project is scheduled for completion by the end of April 2018.  Temporary, 2” thick sidewalk will be installed until permanent sidewalk can be installed in the Spring 2018.  Final grading and landscaping will immediately follow permanent sidewalk installation.
