City of Cleveland Statement on Court’s Upholding of Officer Discipline

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland has issued the following statement on the decision reached by the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas regarding the termination of Timothy Loehmann’s employment as a Cleveland Police officer:

“The City of Cleveland is pleased that the court upheld its decision to terminate the employment of former Cleveland Police patrol officer Timothy Loehmann. The City has consistently maintained throughout this process that Loehmann’s termination was justified.”
