Census 2020

A message from: Freddy L. Collier Jr. Director Cleveland City Planning Commission

Although the COVID 19 situation has disrupted our overall quality of life, the 2020 Census remains critical to the well-being and near-term future of our community. Adjustments have been made with respect to voting and tax preparation timelines during this crisis. The 2020 Census is equally as important and will have far reaching implications for our community. The need to obtain a complete count of our population is essential for the preservation of our democracy, the allocation of resources, and is needed for supportive services that impact our community. The information obtained as a result of the 2020 Census will provide important demographic data needed for decision making at all levels. We have provided a link to the on-line version of the 2020 Census Form. This will ensure that everyone can fill out the form in a virtual environment avoiding any human contact while allowing you to fulfill this important civic duty. As we spend a significant amount of time at home and on our electronic devices, we encourage everyone to go on-line and fill out your 2020 Census form at: https://my2020census.gov/
