The Division of Assessments and Licenses processes and issues over 140 types of licenses and permits to ensure business owners may operate legally within the City. The Division collects and accurately accounts for licenses, permits, invoices, registrations and fees.
To ensure compliance, a team of special police officers enforces City licensing requirements fairly and consistently to maintain confidence in the integrity of the City's business regulatory environment.
Registration
Some licenses and permits have specific windows of time when registrations are accepted while others may be taken on a rolling basis without penalty.
