SOPEC Community Choice Electric Aggregation Program for the City of Cleveland

Cleveland’s electricity aggregation program, managed by SOPEC (Sustainable Ohio Public Energy Council), helps eligible residents and small businesses access competitive electric supply rates through group purchasing. Residents will soon be receiving letters about the program, which will transition to a new fixed rate beginning in August 2026. Eligible customers are automatically enrolled unless they choose to opt out. Learn more at the City's SOPEC webpage.
