The purpose of the committee is to create opportunities and improve the quality of life for Black women and girls. The Commission will advocate, initiate, and champion programs and legislation to improve outcomes for Black women and girls, and their families.
The Commission on Black Women and girls in the City of Cleveland is seeking:
- Two Black female CMSD students representing ages 11-17
- One Black woman representing higher education
- One Black woman representing labor
- One Black woman in college
