Monday, October 28, 2024 — Cleveland — Beginning Wednesday, October 30, 2024, the City of Cleveland will begin resurfacing East 6th Street from Superior Avenue to Euclid Avenue.
Work will include milling of existing asphalt and replacement, base repairs, utility casting adjustments, ADA compliant ramps, resetting of granite curbs, and replacement of concrete curbs and walks as needed.
Please note that these dates may change based on weather. Additional notices will be issued as needed.
During resurfacing East 6th Street will be closed to through traffic between Superior Avenue and Vincent Avenue.
Access to the East 6th Street parking garage will be maintained from Euclid Avenue to Vincent Avenue through one-way lanes.
Construction zones will be installed and advanced warning signs will be placed outside of the work area informing the public of the construction work.
The work on this project will generally take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The project is scheduled for completion in mid-November 2024.
