We're installing shared bike and scooter parking locations citywide starting this Spring

Shared Mobility Hubs

The sign that will be hung at each shared mobility hub. It includes a logo, rules about the program, and a link to the program webpage.

Shared mobility devices are electric scooters (e-scooters) and electric bicycles (e-bikes) that are available to rent for short rides around the city. The City of Cleveland is working with Cuyahoga County to better organize these shared mobility devices around Cleveland. We’re installing over 70 shared mobility hubs around the City this Spring and Summer.

Each hub will include a sign (pictured here) with rules and information about the program. Many hubs will also include blue bike racks to help bikes and scooters stay upright and out of the walkway. Each hub location was reviewed in coordination with the Ohio Department of Transportation.

We aim to locate hubs near transit stops and stations, business districts, recreation centers, and in other key high-traffic destinations.

You can see each location's specifics, with photos, in our location reference document.

Hub Typologies

Depending on the neighborhood and location context, the type of hub we install will differ. A hub with more bike racks would be more appropriate near a busy commercial corridor, while we would likely consider a concrete pad with markings and a sign on a neighborhood street. This image shows an example of one typology, but you can explore our typology document to learn more about different types of shared mobility hubs.
