Thursday, June 16, 2022 — Cleveland, OH — Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) is excited to welcome Alaska Airlines to Northeast Ohio. Alaska Airlines is making CLE its newest destination by offering daily nonstop service to Seattle, which is one of Cleveland’s top markets for both business and leisure travelers.
“Alaska Airlines is a major airline that, for the past decade, ranked in the top 5 for overall customer satisfaction and service, which we know is important to our customers,” said Airport Director Robert Kennedy. “The Cleveland marketplace responds well to good service, good prices and a good schedule, all of which Alaska Airlines demonstrates and we know our customers will appreciate.”
“Today we are pleased to welcome a new, full-service carrier to Cleveland and to be able to say that our airport once again offers, nonstop flight to Seattle,” said Mayor Justin M. Bibb. “This increased connectivity to the West Coast, as well as Alaska, Hawaii and Asia, is a big win for our city.”
"We’re elated to see such strong ticket sales for our new flight between Seattle and Cleveland. Now it’s time to connect these two diverse parts of the country with our award-winning service every day,” said Brett Catlin, vice president of network and alliances at Alaska Airlines. “As we look ahead, we believe there’s tremendous growth opportunities for business and leisure travel by linking Northeast Ohio and the Puget Sound.”
