Feb. 13, 2023 – Cleveland – Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 14, Cleveland City Council will be holding hearings to review Mayor Justin M. Bibb’s 2023 Budget Estimate. The proposed General Fund Operating Budget for 2023 is $710.7 million and the total citywide budget is $1.95 billion.
The budget hearings will begin tomorrow at 9 a.m. with the presentation of the Mayor’s Letter of Transmittal. Over the course of two weeks, each of the City’s departments will have a session in front of City Council to review accomplishments of 2022 and discuss the proposed 2023 budget.
In preparation for the Feb. 15 session, the Department of Public Safety has released 2022 Annual Reports for each division (see links for each report):
