Cleveland Resident Construction Worker Hours: 20% Requirement
Low-Income Cleveland Residential Construction Worker Hours: 4% of the 20% Requirement
Construction Management Team Leadership: Will enter into a construction management contractual relationship with an OEO certified construction management team firm ( “OCCMTM”)
Mentor/Protégé Program: Required the OCCMTM to enter a Mentor/Protégé relationship with an additional OEO certified firm with reasonable and mutually agreeable measurable goals, as approved by OEO. The OCCMT and the Prime Contractor will negotiate roles within the overall construction management process. This negotiation process will determine the percentage of shared construction management fees - excluding staff augmentation contributed by the OCCMTM from this calculation.
Apprenticeships: At least (5) registered apprentices who are adult Cleveland residents and/or City of Cleveland Community College students that are Cleveland Residents.
Internships: (5) Cleveland Resident School Students or recent graduates. Interview and Select at least (5) Cleveland Youth for employment opportunities. Select at least (5) May Hayes Students for Internships.
Community Engagement: (3) Community Stakeholders’ meetings
Other Negotiated Community Benefits
In conjunction with Marriott, agree to use local artist, in the minimum aggregate expenditure of $150,000, to develop art for the Project.
Allocate meeting space for non-profit and community organizations once a quarter for a reduced cost at a 50% market rate discount.
The Developer will provide a building automation system that will yield net energy savings beyond that which would be standard for a project.
